Secret Gel-Bac 5.000 ml | Filter Starter Bacteria

For example, in spring when the sun is already abundant but the water temperature lags behind.

With Secret's Gel-Bac, the user can start up or maintain their pond filter; the user applies this gel to their filter, preferably near the filter material. The user then switches off the UV-C unit for 48 hours to allow the bacteria to adhere.

100ml. Gel-Bac is suitable for 1,000 litres of water, so 5000ml. is suitable for 50,000m3 of pond volume.

Gel-Bac consists of living bacteria specially developed for starting up and maintaining the biological filter. The nitrification process ensures that harmful substances become safe. This gel has been specially developed for filter systems; because it is a gel, it adheres directly to the filter material and shortens the filter's start-up time.

A process that normally takes 6-8 weeks can now be shortened to 2-4 weeks. This product is 100% natural, contains no chemicals, and is free of pathogens.

The pond must meet the following values:

• KH-Value: 6 -10
• Ammonia: <0.15 mg/l (NH3)
• pH-value: 7-8
• Nitrite: <0.15 mg/l (NO2)
• GH-Value: 8-12
• Oxygen: <60-100% (O2)

The user can use a pond test kit for this purpose.
