The Secret products help you to get and keep your pond healthy. These products have been carefully composed by our specialists based on our experience and the wishes of the customer. The Secret products are mainly intended to support your filter system or your eco system at difficult times. Such as in the spring when the sun is already frequently present but the water temperature lags behind.
To make it easier for you, Secret has put together a starter kit to start and maintain your pond. This set consists of the following items:
Secret Filterstart
The filter start contains a very strong composition of nitrifying bacteria which play an important role in the start-up of your pond and filter. This can be added to both the pond and the filter, but turn off the UVC unit for 24-48 hours before adding.
Secret Pond Booster
Secret Pond Booster is a product that consists of minerals and trace elements that give a boost to all life in your pond. Give your pond a boost several times a year so that the bacteria in your filter function optimally and nitrogen and phosphorus compounds are limited. An additional advantage of this is that algae do not stand a chance. An extra addition is the essential micronutrients, which make your water plants yield extra.
Secret KH plus
KH+ from Secret quickly and effectively increases the KH value of the pond water and stabilizes the PH value. Due to the influence of sunlight, plants and the presence of algae, the PH value in water with a low KH can fluctuate during the day. To prevent this, we recommend a KH value between 5 & 10 KH
Especially ponds with many plants need a large amount of Calcium and Magnesium because plants use a lot of these minerals. Then it is especially important to keep your GH value in order! Try to keep your GH value between 8 and 12 for an optimal balance in your pond!
