The Secret products help you to get and keep your pond healthy. These products have been carefully composed by our specialists based on our experience and the wishes of the customer. The Secret products are mainly intended to support your filter system or your eco system at difficult times. Such as in the spring when the sun is already frequently present but the water temperature lags behind.
With the Gel-Bac from Secret you can start or maintain your pond filter, you apply this gel in your filter, preferably with the filter material. You then switch off the UV-C unit for 48 hours, to give the bacteria the chance to attach.
100ml. Gel-Bac is suitable for 1,000 litres of water, so 1000ml. is suitable for 10,000m3 of pond content.
Gel-Bac consists of living bacteria specially developed for starting and maintaining the biological filter. The nitrification process ensures that the harmful substances are safe. This gel is specially developed for filter systems, because it is gel it adheres directly to the filter material and shortens the start-up time of the filter.
A process that normally takes 6-8 weeks can now be shortened to 2-4 weeks. This product is 100% natural and contains no chemicals and is free of pathogens.
The pond must meet the following values:
- KH Value: 6 -10
- Ammonia: <0.15 mg/l (NH3)
- PH Value: 7-8
- Nitrite: <0.15 mg/l (NO2)
- GH Value: 8-12
- Oxygen: <60-100% (02)
