Secret Nitri-Bac 1,000 ml | Nitrite-reducing bacteria
✔ In stock
Nitrification is the biological oxidation of the nitrogen compound ammonia to the nitrogen compound nitrite, followed by the oxidation of this nitrite to the nitrogen compound nitrate. Oxidation means combustion. Certain bacteria are able to carry out this process. They "burn" ammonia and nitrite to provide energy to their cells. The residual product is nitrate. These specific bacteria need a place to settle to do their work; they prefer not to float freely in the water. In natural water, these bacteria are found on the bottom and walls of, for example, a ditch. To support these processes and to ensure that the user maintains one of the most important processes in a pond, the user should use Nitri-Bac. Nitri-Bac thus lowers the ammonia and nitrite levels.
Dosage
50ml per 1000 liters, mix the bacteria with 3 liters of water in a watering can and distribute the mixture evenly over the pond.
1 liter is sufficient for 20,000 liters of pond water including filter. 5 liters suitable for 100,000 liters of pond water including filter.
The pond must meet the following values:
- KH value: 6 -10
- Ammonia: <0.15 mg/l (NH3)
- pH value: 7-8
- Nitrite: <0.15 mg/l (N02)
- GH value: 8-12
- Oxygen: <60-100% (02)
The user can use a pond test kit for this purpose
* Keep out of reach of children.
* Do not swallow and avoid eye contact.
