Bottom sludge is deposited on the bottom of your pond by food residues, faeces and leaf litter. This can lead to acidification of the water, formation of anaerobic (oxygen-poor) zones, growth of bad bacteria, rotting processes, decrease of carbonate hardness and pH value, disruption of the nitrification process and blockage of your pump or bottom drain.

Secret sludge-away* increases the oxygen content of your pond water and brings sludge and dirt directly to the surface, where they can be removed with a scoop net or via the skimmer. The oxygen-rich water will reduce the stress under your swimming jewels and make them less susceptible to diseases.

Use: Sprinkle 30 gr/1000 litres of pond water on the areas with bottom dirt and dead plant and algae remains.

Attention! Do not use Secret slib-away at pH values ​​above 8.5. Repeat if necessary, but always leave 3 days between treatments.
If the KH value is lower than 3, first increase it with Secret KH+
If the GH value is lower than 6, first increase it with Secret GH+ .
